Shikamaru arrived in the Sand Village around 5:30 P.M. because he was delayed by a couple of troublesome friends and some sandstorms.

Shikamaru arrived at Temari's house and knocked on the door.
Gaara opened it and spoke blankly.
"Temari is just over there in the living room."
Shikamaru nodded and headed over to the living room and saw Temari asleep.
Shikamaru poked Temari a couple of times and Temari woke up.
"Ehh? Damn Kanky, what the hell?" Temari groaned.
"Temari, sorry I was late." Shikamaru apologized.
"What time is it anyway?" Temari squinted at the clock.
"Uhh... 6:00." Shikamaru said.
"Six? Oh my god!"
" Temari! It's okay! We still have 6 hours! Come on!" Shikamaru fretted.
I never saw Shikamaru fret like that! Temari thought.
