Chapter 1~~ Late again!

It was morning in the sand village, and being in a dessert in the morning means sunburn.
Kankurou was outside the house and baking himself to death.
"Crap. It's so hot. Damn you Gaara. Why are you making me suffer? I'm almost covered in black clothes, and he makes me suffer under the sun." Kankurou mumbled and complained to himself.
Inside, Temari was walking back and forth and in circles, every hour, she'd get more and more impatient...
"Shikamaru...where are you? You said eight o'clock!" Temari couldn't stand this anymore, she marched to the kitchen and picked up the receiver of the wall telephone and dialed Shikamaru's number.
The person from the other line picked up the phone.
"Hello?" the man said.
"Hello Nara-san. May I speak with Shikamaru?" Temari requested.
"Please wait." the man said.
Shikamaru's dad went upstairs to Shikamaru's room and knocked on the door which ended Shikamaru's slumber.
"Shikamaru, it's Temari in the phone. Come down." Shikamaru's dad called.
"Aughh..." Shikamaru moaned and walked to the door dizzily.
"Faster." Shikamaru's dad impatiently called.
Shikamaru opened the door and was squinting.
"I'll come downstairs, tell her don't hang up." Shikamaru lazily mumbled, but loud enough for his dad to hear.
Shikamaru's dad walked the stairs again and picking up the phone.
"Temari, Shikamaru will be with you in a minute." Shikamaru's dad said.
"Thank you Nara-san." Temari thanked.
Shikamaru went down yawning and grumbling but the time he reached the phone, he picked up the receiver and fell asleep and his head fell on the buttons of the telephone. Temari heard a long 'Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppp'.
"Shikamaru! You lazy bum! Wake up!" Temari shouted into Shikamaru's ear.
Shikamaru was shocked and woke up fully.
"What? What? What?!" Shikamaru shouted.
"Shikamaru, you said you'd arrive at 8! Look, it's already 10!" Temari whined.
"Oh my gosh! Sorry, I fell asleep when I was dressing up! I'm gonna go pick you up, see you later Temari, bye." Shikamaru hung up and ran, he passed by his dad by the door,
"Shikamaru where are you--"
"Sorry dad I have to go pick up Temari." Shika said and left.
"--going." Shika's dad continued.
